As lovers of garlic and good food we are always exploring new ideas and recipes for cooking with black and fresh garlic and our other garlic-inspired DR Garlic products. We plan to share recipes and tips with you in this blog and to add more regularly. We also invite you to contribute your favourites and discoveries.

Let’s begin with a few pointers ~

Black Garlic should become the hero ingredient in a dish to showcase its unique fusion of umami, caramel and other subtle flavours.

As it doesn’t change very much when you cook with it, it’s very easy to simply add more to taste at any stage of cooking.

It should keep for at least 12 months, just keep it sealed in the fridge.

If it gets dry, simply add a little water and let it reconstitute.

Black Garlic should never be used instead of fresh garlic, but definitely in tandem with it!
